Today was That Day

The day you realize that summer's on its way out and we'll see the leaves change soon. The monsoons are largely over, the nights are getting cool again, and even though the days will be hot for a while yet your bones tell you that it will be autumn all too soon.

And, tired of the heat, we look forward to the cool and even have a longing thought for winter, though we'll grow tired of that in turn as well, and again long for the heat as we swim through the ebb and flow of the seasons that make up the span of our days.
